BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
University of Cantabria was subcontracted by Fagor Electrónica to design a Tetra network for the emergency service of the local government of Cantabria. One of the requirements of that network was to place the Tetra base stations at the existing locations of the cellular network.
A traffic study was carried out, taking into account the parameters of the 112 service of the Government of Cantabria. The network planning was done using the ATDI tool, detailing coverage areas over several maps and the fraction of the coverage area in each case.
