BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
In this project, for the Swiss Telecommunications Regulatory Authority BAKOM, we developed techno-economical model for the study of the termination call costs in the swiss mobile network. The model was implemented as a software tool for the design and dimensioning of a hypothetical operator network, and its cost evaluation under different scenarios.
The model takes into account the national road and train networks, the singular topography of the country, the high number of tourists respect the local population and the limitations in the frequency use in the boundaries of the country.
