BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
This project consists on a system that enables reservation and access control to the terminals in the information Technology classrooms, so the students can reserve workplaces comfortably anywhere anytime. The novelty of the system is the use of a smart card as the user's identification element and as an essential tool for validating the reservations and using the PCs.
Besides off-card application development, students’ smartcards were enhanced with the addition of an agenda applet within their smartcard. This application allows the user to store and access its internet bookmarks and the more used e-mail addresses.
